Strongly reminiscent of the 1949 Harley-Davidson Hydra-Glide, with wheel covers and that classic teardrop-shaped gas tank, this 1990 Harley-Davidson Softtail Heritage Classic is the second installation in the Softtail line. The classic heritage paint scheme highlights the retro shape of the bike, with Birch White (HD paint code 98063 AV) and Dark Candy Ruby Red (HD paint code 98603 JE/ JA) accents against a Black Pearl base (HD paint code 98603 JE). Live to Ride Harley-Davidson eagle emblems embellish the gas tank and the sides. The chrome of the 1300cc (80 cubic-inch) engine shines brightly, drawing attention wherever you go.

Produced between 1986 and 1999, the Heritage Softtail Classic was designed to improve every ride by introducing rear suspension. With an over the handle-bar saddle bag, side saddle bags, and a front pocket to store additional paperwork, this bike is made to take two (and some extra luggage) into the sunset. The tank-mounted ignition switch offers four positions: lights - ignition - off - accessories, with the final mode for display.

Built on March 1,1990, this vehicle has a true Aiken backstory. Purchased by an Aiken local four years ago, it was used as a horse-show ride, and was pulled across the country in a stall of a horse trailer. While the tow rig and horses stayed at the show, he’d ride around town on this FLST - a real iron horse, if you will.
