In true Land Cruiser tradition, this build was crafted to go where few vehicles can. Custom-built for a client by The FJ Company a few years ago, it has covered fewer than 4,300 miles since completion. The entire build whispers class with its white exterior, custom saddle interior, dark grey steel wheels, and period-correct center caps. This frame-off restoration respects old-school charm while integrating tasteful upgrades beneath its clean exterior. It runs, drives, and accelerates exceptionally well, with a properly set-up suspension and a stable driveline. A vehicle so nice, we had to have it twice, this FJ40 returns to grace our showrooms after a turn around Florida.

The FJ40 draws you in with its classic shape and iconic grille—enhanced with subtle modern touches. Clean lines pair beautifully with the 32x11.50x15 BF Goodrich KO2 All-Terrains (installed late 2024), ideal for mud, rocky terrain, or highway cruising. The expedition bumper and Warn M8274 classic electric winch with synthetic rope add functionality to get you out of sticky situations when muddy shit literally hits the fan.

This FJ40 backs its tough looks with real capability. The upgraded fuel-injected Toyota 1FZ engine produces 210 horsepower and is paired with a 5-speed transmission—a modern, reliable powertrain with old-school Land Cruiser dependability. The performance steering system boosts maneuverability, while Old Man Emu lift springs, FOX 2.0 remote reservoir shocks, and the ARB twin compressor make this Land Cruiser ready to venture to any mall… over a mountain range of course.

Inside, the FJ40 blends comfort with durability. The interior provides supportive seating and excellent ergonomics for demanding terrain. The cabin is trimmed in weather-resistant Saddle vinyl, and the Recaro Speed seats keep you planted through rough sections. A custom console has cup holders with the sPOD control panel. In the rear can you can find two Saddle Vinyl jump seats with all the interior door panels trimmed to match.

Creature comforts such as Vintage Air air conditioning and a modern audio system pair perfectly with the classic dash, retro pull-knobs, and upgraded digital cluster.
