Developed in the early nineties, the 1993 Honda Civic VX Hatchback was designed with weight reduction in mind. Fast and light, we can't account for this vehicle's fuel efficiency, but we can attest to its raw power! This Honda has been updated and upgraded, with various features working to complement every drive. The original D15Z1 engine was replaced with an H22A engine, paired to a F23A crank with Crower F23A titanium rods. This vehicle runs on E85 Ethanol, and does not use regular gasoline. In 2012, all bushings and most plastic exterior pieces were replaced, and the vehicle was repainted in New Formula Red (Honda color code R510).

The front seats have been updated with Integra GS-R front seats, and the dashboard has been equipped with oil temperature, oil pressure, and water temperature gauges. The PLX Wideband O2 Sensor display has been built in, and the Kenwood KDC-X591 radio head is connected to two in-door speakers. The RetroAntenna (hpa1) improves radio quality. A Momo Italy steering wheel complements the driving experience and the rear seats have been stripped out, lightening up the load.

Built from the engine up to prioritize speed, this Civic accomplishes its goal in every way. Our mechanics have been looking for excuses to take it out themselves - it tears up the road and leaves its competition in the dust.
