Need to brave the elements? This Defender spent in most of the last decade braving the French Alpine Mountains and ready for the beach, trail, or slopes. This five-seater has plenty of room for all the gear for a weekend trip or traverse the globe. Arrive in style to the campsite with this Epsom Green Metallic (LR Paint Code 961) Defender 110 5 door station wagon. The exterior has black cheque plate wingtops, alpine windows, front winch bumper, step bars, snorkel, and a lifted stance allowing for some large 265/75R16 Toyo Mud tries wrapped around factory alloy Land Rover Rims. The entire floor has been refinished in stainless steel cherquere plate for quick cleaning of from muddy boots or smashed up cheerios. A great running 300Tdi turbo diesel engine has great torque for offroad adventures and civilized enough for over the road. Our team at Car Cave used this Defender as a daily driver and racked up about a thousand test miles.

Originally purchased by a H. Verderawe in May of 1998 at Auto-Center Verderame located at Dr Karl Lenz Str 29, Memmingen, Deutschland 87770. Auto-Center Verderame sold MG, Rover, and Land Rover vehicles. The Defender spent the majority of its life in the Alpine region of Europe, traveling between Salzburg, Austria and Wasserburg am Inn-Staudham, Germany. The paperwork on this vehicle includes the original technical inspection details, including the mileage from service intervals.

By 2017, this vehicle was bought by a Monsieur Jean-Francois and registered in the Haute-Loire region of France. With the Loire river running through its heart and the Massif Central surrounding mountains, this vehicle was at home in the Alpine climate. In 2021, the Defender was completely stripped and the chassis was refurbished and the body given a full teardown respray. The respray was completed in the iconic and original Epsom Green Metallic, though marks on its exterior suggest that it has been used for camping and exploring the wild outdoors.

Our own Car Cave team has had a hand in increasing the health of this vehicle. When it arrived at our shop in late 2024 we performed an oil change, changed the fuel filters, adjusted the E-brake; upgraded to a silicone boost hose kit, replaced glow plugs, U-Joints, and shocks, and performed general maintenance totaling over $5,500. The Defender runs, drives, shifts, and rolls down the road great. A well-tuned and excellent driving machine in need of a new home.
