This Defender was garage-kept and well maintained. It was acquired from the private collection of Signore Alvisi in Lerici, Italy. For nearly a decade of ownership it was stored in a garage and used as an occasional driver. Car Cave performed a comprehensive inspection and over $17K in maintenance to ensure it is ready for any road, trail, or urban adventure. According to records, this Defender was manufactured on June 23, 1999, in Solihull, UK, before being delivered to Italy; and was first registered on July 20, 1999.

Finished in Monza Red (LR Paint Code LRC590) with a proper set of 16" factory alloy 5 spoke wheels wrapped in 265/75R16 BFG All Terrain Tires. The silver wheels complement the wingtop, rocker, and rear corner chequere plates. The Td5 turbo diesel engine provides ample torque for off-road adventures while remaining smooth and practical for highway driving. The Car Cave team used this Defender as a daily driver, adding approximately 800 test miles to ensure reliability.

The interior features seating for nine, including two rear bench seats. The original interior remains in great condition, with a center cubby box between the front seats. Carpeted flooring helps quiet the cabin, making it more comfortable for long drives. A sunroof is located above the driver and front passenger, while Alpine windows in the roof provide additional light for second-row passengers.

Upon arrival at Car Cave in 2025, this Defender underwent an extensive maintenance service to ensure it was in peak condition. Major maintenance included replacing the transfer case, rebuilding the front axle swivels, and replacing the rear A-arm ball joint. Additional services included an oil change, fuel filter replacement, E-brake adjustment, differential pinion seal replacement, new wiper blades, front brake pad and rotor replacement, door lock replacement, hood alignment adjustment, new front vent seals, and plenty of other items.
