Shown here is a Defender 90 we sourced from the dry island of Corsica. Corsica is a French island located due west of Rome, Italy in the Tyrrhenian Sea. The previous owner supplied us with 130+ photos when the Defender was restored. The restoration included a full body off repaint. Car Cave completed a mechanical review of performed approximately $15,000 worth of work before presenting this Defender for sale. The exterior was resprayed in Dark Blue Grey Metallic which included a full tear down body off chassis and glass removed. The bulkhead was replaced and chassis coated. All suspension and brake components were replaced at that time. Plenty of upgrades were made to the aesthetics of this Defender shown in the pictures and listed below. The Defender is mechanical sound and rides down the road great on new tires. The 33x12.50R18 Aturro Trail Blade M/T tires fit the wheel wells perfectly paired with the 18” Alpha Equipment Command Wheels.

Factory built with the solid and reliable 200TDI 2.5L Turbo Diesel engine and LT77 5 Speed manual transmission. Previous owner documented a tear down of the engine during the restoration process. We performed a valve adjustment and replaced a few seals to get the engine running strong.
