From a bathroom in the back, Roofnest on top, a fold-out bed built into the couch, 2 TVs television, a Cradlepoint router for remote Wi-Fi, a mini kitchenette, and large awning, this van is truly a luxury RV for the backwoods. Customized by Midwest Automotive Designs under the model name "Day Cruiser; S5" this Mercedes-Benz has extremely low miles (13,150!) and seats 9 with room for storage and stretching out. The front dash has the factory navigation touchscreen with a secondary screen for automation controls, four separate cup holders, an intercom to speak through the entire vehicle, and a digital display. The factory rear camera has been upgraded to act as a rearview mirror even at speeds over 10 mph (aftermarket add-on). Both the driver and the front passenger seat are clad in AMG style upgraded cross-stitched seating featuring massage elements. Surround sound with multiple speakers makes the music sound even crisper. You need comfortable seating - the previous owner installed an SB long range fuel tank so you can cruise all day without stopping.

Overlanding upgrades include an anti-gravity battery that can start the vehicle even after you’ve run the battery dead. A hood mounted solar battery maintainer has been added for redundancy. 110 volt shore power operates the functionality of the RV, from the television to the charging ports. An Agile Offroad lift kit with Fox Shocks has been installed for extra ground clearance complement with upgraded wheels and all-terrain tires, making certain this Sprinter is ready to handle off-pavement exploration. The OWL roof rack has both side and rear ladder to access the roof. A full complement of LED lights are mounted on the roof rack to light up the sides and rear. The front end is not lacking for lighting either with factory fog lamps mounted in the lower facia and OWL Outdoors Triple-R LED lights recessed in custom grill mounts. The inside features a diesel powered Webasto heater for cold mountain nights, and a side mounted folding table does double duty as a mount for your tracking boards.

The aisle into the back is partitioned by an optional curtain. Two rear-facing independent seats and one front-facing (with a motorized extendable footrest) independent seat also boast massage options. Multiple USB charging ports and standard outlets are built into the walls, while a television with built-in AppleTV and BlueRay player (not currently functional but we can replace with updated tech) dominates the front wall and a smaller TV on the back bathroom door. Wood panelling is protected by carpeting, while the fold-out sofa bed seats four. A mini fridge, microwave, drawers, sink with cutting board, cabinets, and fridge make up a mini kitchenette. Overhead storage runs the length on both sides. Blinds can be pulled up over every window. This middle compartment can also be accessed by a push button sliding side door.

The rear compartment contains a functioning toilet which as never been used. You will be the first person to christen that throne! The plumbing was winterized annually but the sink and bathroom have never been used besides for testing purposes and winterization. The bathroom has a full storage shelf with a locking door to the passenger compartment. The vehicle also has a satellite attached to the roof, which provides Wifi anywhere, for any reason. Interior lighting makes sure that you're never in the dark, with lights set into the ceiling throughout the back compartment.

The exterior of this vehicle packs even more surprises. A pull-out awning turns the passenger side of the vehicle into a shady picnic spot, any time, anywhere. Underneath the awning is exterior roofrack lighting, outdoor speakers, and a foldout table equipped with traction boards. Climb either of the easily accessible OWL ladders to your aerie on the roof. The Roofnest, a Falcon 3 Evo Air model, sleeps two with a built-in inflatable mattress. It folds down into a compact hard-shelled case (only 8" tall) and folds back up again quickly to take you straight into dreamland.
