Presented here is a GCC (Gulf Corporation Council from the Middle East) spec Land Cruiser with a laundry list of cool options. Please note, we updated the tires after taking the first set of pictures. The Toyota has the sought-after bulletproof 2UZ-FE 4.7L V8 paired to a 5 speed manual transmission. This great spec and fun-to-drive Land Cruiser is looking for a new home. A great, hard to find example which would be a spectacular daily driver or a blank canvas for an epic build! The undercarriage is dry and rust free due to living its entire life in the desert. To our knowledge, this is the first factory built 100 series available in the US with the 2UZ and a 5 speed.

And this Land Cruiser has way too many cool features not found on the 100 series sold here in the US! "GCC Spec" refers to vehicles that are manufactured to meet the regulations of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, which includes the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and Qatar. The GCC specific options include a 5 speed manual transmission (all models sold in the US were automatic), factory winch hidden under the front bumper, rear tire carrier, sub fuel tank (2 fuel tanks), 2 spare tires, gold emblem, and pintle hitch.

The Land Cruiser is powered by a 2UZ-FE fuel injected 32-valve 4.7L 90º DOHC V8 gasoline engine with plenty of horsepower and torque. A factory H151F 5 speed manual transmission and a hi/low range transfer case that features full time 4wd. In contrast all of the US spec 80 series had an automatic transmission. The axle code shows a A04A which translates to a 7.5” 4:300:1 differentials putting traction to the ground.

The exterior of this Land Cruiser is finished in Warm Silver Metallic (Toyota Color Code 1B1). Stance has been increased thanks to a Dobinsons 2.0” IMS Lift Kit. The next owner has a chance to select their own tires as well - our sale price includes a $800 allowance for tires. From the front you can see a factory Toyota winch cover, gold hood ornament, and the “2000 Millenium Edition” badges. The rear can be identified as GCC by the rear tire carrier, secondary spare mounted underneath, and pintle hitch. The rear mounted spare tire comes in handy when you're out adventuring in the bush. A factory Sub Fuel tank (secondary fuel tank) is mounted in the rear. Yes, you read that correctly… this Land Cruiser was built with two fuel tanks from the factory!

There are several modern features on the interior of this luxurious 100 Series. The front and second row seats of been refinished in the original light oak leather. The front seats are power adjustable with other power features including locks, steering, brakes, windows, mirrors, and tilt steering wheel. The center dash is simplified and only contains a Toyota Tape player with HVAC controls and a few buttons, one of which is the locking center diff. There are two airbags for the front passengers and a cooler box in the center console. The center console also houses a CD changer and the passenger footwell has a GCC required fire extinguisher. Second row seating has the benefit of fold down cupholders and ashtrays. In the cargo area of the vehicle your passengers can ride in comfort with flip down jump seats for a total of 3 people (total vehicle seating capacity of 8) and a rear air conditioner. Please note: The rear cargo seating does not have seat belts as it was built this way from the factory.

Overall, the 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser 100 Series with GCC spec 5 speed manual, fill-time 4WD, center fridge console, rear differential locker, and rear cargo AC is a special and unique vehicle. Car Cave installed the Dobinson lift kit, replaced the battery, starter, intake manifold gasket, brake line, camshaft position sensor, engine balance shaft belt tensioner, wiper blades, wiper motor, serpentine belt, washer nozzle, and replaced the windshield including moldings. We completed a few hundred miles of test drives. The vehicle is aesthetically identical as to how we received it and no reconditioning besides a basic detail was performed. The Land Cruiser has a set of 285/75R16 tires installed which are included with the asking price. If the buyer does not like the tires we can provide an $800 allowance towards tires.
