The 1988 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62, renowned for its rugged build and off-road capabilities, has been meticulously maintained, upgraded, and reconditioned with over $70,000 spent in the last 1000 miles.

Externally, the FJ62 maintains its iconic boxy design, now featuring a stylish grey metallic exterior with a previous respray that enhances its classic charm. The vehicle's new 17-inch steel wheels are fitted with 34x10.50R17 BFG All Terrain tires, providing both improved performance and a fresh aesthetic. It also includes a JW Speaker heated headlight upgrade for superior illumination during night drives. An older Old Man Emu lift kit is installed increasing ground clearance and allowing for the 34” tires to tuck in the wheel wells nicely. The shocks and leaf springs are starting to show their age so we are including a $2000 allowance towards new shocks and springs. That way the new owner can setup the suspension to their requirements and load capacity.

Inside, the FJ62 offers a completely refreshed cabin that accommodates up to five passengers. The interior has been redone with new carpets, door panels, and black vinyl seats, providing a modern and comfortable environment. The cabin is also equipped with a CCOT center console, adding modern convenience and additional storage space. For entertainment, the vehicle boasts an upgraded stereo system featuring a Kenwood Excelon touchscreen head unit, a Rockford Fosgate Punch P450.4 amplifier, and Boston 6.5" speakers, ensuring high-quality sound. Additionally, a Viper alarm system with keyless entry has been installed for added security and convenience.

Under the hood, the FJ62 is powered by a rebuilt 4.0-liter inline-six gasoline engine (3F-E), delivering approximately 155 horsepower and 220 lb-ft of torque, managed by a rebuilt 4-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle boasts a four-wheel-drive system with manual locking front hubs, ensuring reliable performance in challenging off-road conditions. The addition of a Warn 8274 winch and off-road lights by Baja Designs further boosts the vehicle's off-road capability and versatility. The solid front and rear axles with leaf springs enhance its ruggedness and durability, while the Dissent rear bumper and White Knuckle rock sliders offer additional protection and functionality for serious off-road use.
